RULES
Teams can choose to participate in ground beef sliders, steak or both categories.
The entry fee for the competition is $25/category or $50 for both categories.
Teams can be made up of 3 kids with one adult supervisor (required).
Team members must be between the ages of 6 & 15 years old on the date of the contest.
Adult helpers must be 21 or older and have a picture ID available at the contest.
All preparation, cooking and presentation must be done by the kids. Adult supervisors may only do the lighting of the grill and any cutting or slicing deemed too dangerous for the cooks.
Adult supervisors must be present at all times until entries are turned in.

We present to you the 62nd Dodge City Days Western Parade. Our theme this year is THE WEST IS JUST THE BEGINNING and promises to make for great floats sponsored by local businesses and clubs. Please note the staging location: Soule Street will be closed from 6th Street to Central Avenue. Parade line up will begin at 7:00 a.m. at 6th Street and Soule. Mr. Grauer is the author of several books and will speak at the Ford
County Legacy Center on Molly Goodnight and her journey on the
Western Cattle Trail to Dodge City.

Truck Center Companies Touch-A-Truck

Touch-A-Truck, brought to you by Truck Center Companies, is a Dodge City Days event which is comprised of 10-20 trucks or vehicles on display for kids and their families to tour and "touch". Each vehicle must be accompanied by a driver or someone who can tour the kids through the vehicle and tell them how it works and what it is used for. This form serves to confirm your commitment to participate in this event.

Where and when does the event take place? The event takes place during Dodge City Days in conjunction with the Classic Car Show on Saturday, August 6, 2022 from 10:00am - 3:00pm in Wright Park.

You can drop off your vehicle in Wright Park anytime between 7:00am and 9:30am on Saturday, August 6. Upon arrival the Dodge City Days committee will direct you where to park. Vehicles must be in place no later than 9:30am to ensure safety and avoid traffic with the Cattle Drive event that starts at 9:00am. Vehicles must be accompanied by an attendant during the times of the event (10am - 3pm).

Touch-A-Truck Guidelines:
Please abide by these guidelines for the safety of our participants.
1. If you cannot provide a representative please notify the Dodge City Days committee and a volunteer will be assigned to your vehicle.
2. Vehicle must be attended at all times during the event 10:00am - 3:00pm.
3. Vehicles must not be moved once event starts to ensure safety of participants (unless an emergency vehicle).
4. The Dodge City Area Chamber of Commerce is not responsible for any vehicles, its contents, damages, losses, injuries, judgments or claims sustained by them or their vehicle(s) or personal property.
5. Free giveaways and branding on vehicle are encouraged, but not required. Feel free to distribute business cards and to discuss your work with attendees, however, we ask that you not engage in the sale of any services or merchandise during this event.
6. All vehicles must be vacated from the property by 4pm on Saturday, August 6, 2022.

3RD Annual High-Noon Shootout Cornhole Tournament and silent auction to benefit the Courtney Ty Lynn Foundation (facebook @courtneytylynnfoundation). All proceeds will help local children in need. Registration starts at 10:30 am with bags flying at Noon, $40 per team (2 players per team), bags will be available and over $600 in prize money. Hosted by Boot Hill Baggers and I Don't Care Family Restaurant and Sports Bar. Silent Auction throughout the day along with giveaways. All proceeds will help local children with special needs.

Mark Yardley, owner of Eagles Landing a.k.a. Flying J, is hosting the second annual fundraiser for our local first responders. This will be a carnival style event with fun activities like a mechanical bull, face painting, band music, dunk tank, good food, and much more. We have many local sponsors donating gifts for the cause. Raffle tickets will be sold until 3:30 p.m. the day of the event (Aug. 7th) over 50 winners will be announced at 4:00 p.m. You do not need to be present to win.
